Landing - Monoprint

This is a digital giclée print of an original handmade monoprint.

I made the original monoprint by hand printing a linocut depicting cast shadows onto a giclee fine art print of my original acrylic landscape painting of the Oare Marshes in Kent.

This ‘hybrid’ monoprint is an example of how I like incorporate both analogue and digital print methods in my work. It also showcases my love for layering urban and Arcadian imagery.

The high quality 230gsm archival matte paper provides a smooth and durable finish and the giclée inks used are pigmented which ensures the colours remain vibrant and long lasting.
